Give to Grow Ōtepoti is a not-for-profit organisation which redistributes surplus gardening tools and resources to people who do not have easy access to gardening gear. We accept (old or new) garden tools and resources that are ready to use or can be easily repaired for use. Our vision is “Growth through generosity and gardening", and we aim to promote the idea that cultivating the earth together and sharing (through harvesting, cooking, and eating) garden produce promotes trust and cooperation.”

The purpose of these working bees is to give donated garden tools some TLC before they go out to their new owners. Each session will involve refurbishing gardening tools to prepare them for distribution, then some light gardening work in our communal gardening space when time permits. Beginning May 11th, these will be held on the second Saturday of each month at our HQ at 14 Bridgman Street, Dunedin.
