There are a lot of community gardens reaching to all corners of Dunedin city. But how well do we know each other and could we be working better together for shared success?!

In September, 2024, Our Food Network will host a community networking event open to all people already involved in or interested in community gardens in their neighbourhood.

During this 2 hour, informal event, will work together to focus on the following core objectives: 

• Getting to know one another

• Identifying what we actually want to achieve with our gardens

• Identifying common issues that affect community gardens around the city

• Sharing best practices and resources for collective success through solidarity

• Improving community engagement, volunteer recruitment and retention

This event is open to everyone and is completely cost-free. A light afternoon tea will be provided. Come have your say about how we can make our community gardens thrive!
